Refund Policy

This policy covers billing for Bookkeeply's paid plan (Tax Planner and Contractors & 1099s), including our free trial and how refunds work. Core bookkeeping is always free and isn't affected by it.
14-day free trial
Every paid plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and you won't be charged anything during it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, we automatically charge your card for the plan you picked and your subscription continues from there.
Cancelling & refunds
Cancel anytime from Settings, no email needed. Cancel during your trial and you're never charged. Once you've been charged, cancelling stops future billing: for a monthly plan this takes effect at the end of your current billing month, and for an annual plan you keep full access through the end of the year you already paid for, with no prorated refund for the remaining months.
Charged by mistake?
If you forgot to cancel before your trial ended, or think you were charged in error, email us from the address on your account (see "Questions?" below) and we'll take a look. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record, and typically appear back on your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above.
